The semi-submersible truss-type offshore aquaculture is mainly used for open ocean mariculture in Ledong Sea, Hainan. 

 The total length of the aquaculture platform is 91.3 m, the total width is 27.6 m, the depth is 12 m. The design draught is about 11 meters, and the water body is about 20,000 cubic meters, which has the ability to resist the wind scale level 17, the wave height of 9m, and the current resistance of 1m/s to survive in sea conditions.

  This aquaculture platform adopts semi-submersible technology, which can be used to dive and float to a limited extent, and provides a comprehensive solution for the simple maintenance of the platform, such as harvesting and changing nets. The aquaculture platform adopts a hybrid truss structure with truss and floating body, which maximizes the hydrodynamic effect of the platform and control the cost manufacturing, improves the water exchange between the inside and outside of the platform, and increases the aquaculture efficiency.

   The aquaculture platform is mainly composed of main structure, net, mooring system and aquaculture supporting facilities. The main structure of the aquaculture platform is a steel all-welded structure, consisting of the first box structure, the tail box structure and truss structure. The box is welded by bone material and steel plate, and the first and the last box are connected by truss structure, which is welded by pipe. The aquaculture platform is mainly composed of the aquaculture space surrounded by the truss structure, and the netting is fixed on the main structure, constituting the growing space for the fish to prevent the fish from escaping and the invasion of the predators. The aquaculture platform adopts a single-point mooring and positioning system, which serves as the root foundation of the fish farm in the water and is used to tie down the aquaculture platform.

  It is equipped with aquaculture area, intelligent aquaculture control area, energy power area, production material storage area and living area, and is equipped with aquaculture feeding expert decision-making system, multi-channel automatic baiting system, monitoring and surveillance system, wind and solar complementary power generation system, seawater desalination equipment, fire alarm system and modernized aquaculture equipments, such as net washer, net raiser and so on, which can realize the integrated management of aquaculture and unmanned aquaculture.
